INDIAN STATISTICAL INSTITUTE- ISI regularly recruits bright and competent researchers for its various academic divisions. Researchers with a Ph.D. degree, three years of research experience, a strong commitment for independent and collaborative research and genuine interest for teaching, are encouraged to apply for the post of Assistant Professor. More experienced persons can apply for the posts of Associate Professor and Professor. Although advertisements for this purpose are brought out from time to time, one can apply any time.
- At present a ISI scientist is expected to teach about one course per semester. A typical class consists of a small group of sincere and inquisitive students. This leaves enough time to oneself to pursue research.
- If you have just got your Ph.D. degree or just submitted your thesis and not been awarded as yet, you can write to us for a post-doc position.
- For candidates with a Ph.D. degree and not having the three year experience, write to the Head for suitable openings.
