Expected audience: The school is intended for young researchers  (including Ph.D. students/postdocs/R&D/industry personnel) and university teachers. The tentative pre-requisites are MS level computer science/ electrical engineering/mathematics/statistics.

Registration fee: Rs.   5000/- (for participants from academics)                                                             Rs. 10000/- (for participants from industry)

(Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi will sponsor 40 participants for whom there will be no registration fee, and they will be provided travelling allowance)

Payment needs to be made by Demand Draft in favor of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata (after getting full confirmation of selection).

Financial assistance:  A limited number of scholarships (travel and/or living expenses) to some  exceptional candidates (both from India and abroad) unable to find other sources of support, may be granted.

Maximum number of participants : 70

Accommodation : A few shared accommodations may be available on first-cum-first-served basis.
