In symmetric key cryptography, Group members are currently working in cryptanalysis of stream ciphers like RC4, HC 128 etc, and design and study of non-linear boolean functions.

In theory of cryptographic hash functions, Group members are working on efficient design as well as security analysis (indifferentiabilty, pre-image awareness etc.) of different modes of operation, new primitives like verifiable random functions, programmable hash functions etc.
