I am Debarka Sengupta, a research fellow at the Machine Intelligence Unit of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and currently working under the supervision of Prof. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay and Prof. Ujjwal Maulik towards Ph. D (third year ). My last degree was B. Tech in computer science ( 2006 passed out ). After a grueling inning of more than 2.5 years in industries ( Infosys, IBM ) I finally managed to get promoted to the world of computational biology which I am enjoying thoroughly.
