Instructions for Authors


Regular / Short papers

  1. The IWDC 2004 proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag under Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.

  2. Papers that are accepted as either regular or short paper will be included in the workshop proceedings. Regular papers will have at most 12 pages and short papers will have at most 6 pages each. Up to two additional pages may be purchased at USD 100 per page ( INR 4500 per page).

  3. The camera ready version is due on SEPTEMBER 24, 2004. Electronically submit your paper to iwdc2004@isical.ac.in. Springer's editorial and printer deadlines are very tight. To meet these deadlines, your cooperation will be highly appreciated.

  4. Instructions for preparing the camera-ready manuscripts are available on the "Authors Instructions" subpage on the LNCS Home Page

  5. DO NOT send any hard copy of the camera-ready manuscript.

  6. Please send the duly filled in LNCS copyright transfer form (available at LNCS Home Page), by Fax or by postal mail to:

  7. For your paper to be included in the proceedings, at least one of the authors MUST register for IWDC 2004, with FULL registration fees, by the deadline of final camera-ready version submission, and confirm attendance.

    or, Arlington, USA [for foreign participants]

    Duly filled in registration form along with the registration fees and extra page charges (if any) should be mailed to:

    A. For Latex/Tex users:
    * Source (input files)
    LaTex file for the text and EPS/PS files for the figures
    * The final DVI file
    * The final PS file (not in reverse order)
    * If possible, a PDF file of the final version of your paper
    * A soft version of the duly filled in registration form

    B. For MS Word users:
    * The final PS file (not in reverse order)
    * The final RTF file
    * If possible, a PDF file of the final version of your paper.
    * A soft version of the duly filled in registration form.
