Call for Papers
Organized since 1999, the International Workshop on Distributed Computing (IWDC) is a forum for presenting the latest research results on the use of distributed and/or networked systems for effective computing. IWDC 2004 is the sixth workshop in this series. The Workshop provides a general platform for academicians, researchers, students, engineers and industries to present their unpublished research findings in any field of Distributed Computing and Systems, Networks and other related areas. The workshop is seeking papers on topics that include but are not limited to the following.

Paper Submission: Authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the workshop. Papers should not exceed twelve (12) SINGLE-spaced pages using at least 11-point size type on A4 / Letter size pages, including references, figures, tables, etc. Papers should be submitted electronically in Postscript or PDF format by sending an e-mail attachment to iwdc2004@isical.ac.in or asen@asu.edu. All papers will be peer reviewed and reviewer comments will be provided to the authors. Accepted papers will appear in a printed proceedings, which will be published by Springer in the LNCS series. Authors need to make sure that for each accepted paper at least one author will attend the workshop.

Tutorials: There will be a day-long tutorial program on the first day of the workshop (27th December, 2004). Proposals are invited for tutorials on relevant subjects. A tutorial proposal should include the abstract of the tutorial and a brief biography of the speaker(s). Please mail your proposal to the Tutorial Chair at somprakash@iimcal.ac.in, by July 19, 2004.
