The Statistics and Mathematics Unit of the ISI, Kolkata centre is organizing a 2-week workshop titled Workshop on Lie Groupoids and Lie Algebroids. In the first week, the basic theory of Lie groupoids and Lie algebroids will be discussed.

Main Topics:

• General theory Lie Groupoids and Lie Algebroids

• Poisson and Jacobi manifolds

• Symplectic and contact groupoids

• Lie algebroid cohomology

During the second week of the workshop there will be invited talks from eminent researchers working in the theory Lie Groupoids and Lie Algebroids.
