Walk-in-Interviews will be conducted at 12 Noon on 3 June 2011 in the Central Library, Indian Statistical Institute, 203 BT Road, Kolkata 700108 for recruitment of 2 (two) Project linked Persons purely on temporary basis to work on fulltime in the project titled "Digital Repository of the Contribution of ISI Scientists"
Qualification: A consistently good academic record with MLISC or its equivalent.
Pay: Rs 12000/pm (Consolidated)
Tenure: Initially up to 31 March 2012.
Age: 35 years as on 1 May 2011. Usaul relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Challenged/Extraordinary candidates.

Project opportunities: Occassionally, senior workers of the library takeup internally/externally funded projects. The Authority generally send the recruitment advertisement to all Heads of the Department of Library & Information Science of different universities in West Bengal, Seceretary, IASLIC and Secretary, BLA. The advertisement is also available at the websites of the Instittue and the Central Library.
