An Walk-in-interview will be conducted on Tuesday, 31 March 2015 at 11:30 A.M. in the Library, Documentation and Information Science Division, of the Institute, Kolkata for recruitment of two (02) Library Trainees purely on temporary basis.
Qualification: 1st Class Master degree in LIbrary & Information Science with Bachelor degree in any Science/Social Science subject(under 10+2+3 system)
Pay: Rs 12000/pm (Consolidated)
Tenure: Initially up to 31 March 2016.
Age: 35 years as on 1 March 2015. Usaul relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Challenged candidates.

Project opportunities: Occassionally, senior workers of the library takeup internally/externally funded projects. The Authority generally send the recruitment advertisement to all Heads of the Department of Library & Information Science of different universities in West Bengal, Seceretary, IASLIC and Secretary, BLA. The advertisement is also available at the websites of the Instittue and the Central Library.
