A meeting was held on September 12, 2010 at Indian Statistical Institute between members of leading academic institutions, representatives of government and members of industry at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. The Hon'ble Finance Minister Sri Pranab Mukherjee who is also the Chairman of the Council of Indian Statistical Institute chaired the meeting.
