Objective

Validity of Psychological test requires high consistency over time and internal properties. Cluster analysis of test-retest reliability overcomes limitation of total score based assessment. Another newly and widely used technique is Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). CFA provides a flexible tool that allows researchers to test a priori measurement models. Researcher begins with a theoretical model and then tests whether the data fit the model. CFA provides reliability as well as different types of validity of the test. Both Cluster analysis and CFA follow principles of multivariate statistics. This workshop will be of interest to researchers who are investigating and refining the measurement properties of the test.
