WORKSHOP ON PSYCHO-SOCIAL SUPPORT FOR DISASTER SURVIVORS

Objective : Objectives of workshop are to disseminate knowledge and to develop capability on Psycho-social support systems for disaster survivors. Major topics are (a) Psychiatric services in Disaster management ; (b) Spectrum of schemes of the Govt. of West Bengal for disaster survivors; (c) Psycho-social support for disaster survivors and (c) Trauma assessment and psycho-social intervention.

Who can apply: Project investigators of the Govt. and Non-Govt. organizations, Faculty members of Universities or Research Institutes and Ph.D. scholars in Psychology, Education and Disaster/Trauma management. It is desirable that participants should be involved in working on the focal theme of workshop.

Traveling allowance : No TA will be given for participating into the workshop.

Foods & Accommodation: Working lunch will be served along with Tea and Coffee during the workshop. No accommodation can be provided.
