| Abstract |
| In this talk, a comparison of the asymptotic variances of robust estimators based on two types of trimming having equal breakdown points will be discussed. Then we will discuss the robustness and the statistical efficiency of multivariate medians and compare them with some other high breakdown point multivariate location estimators based on different notions of trimming. |
