CALL FOR PAPERS Pattern Recognition Letters Special Issue on Frontiers in Handwriting Processing Pattern Recognition Letters is seeking original and unpublished manuscripts for a Special Issue on Frontiers in Handwriting Processing, scheduled for publication in 2012. Pattern Recognition Letters (http://ees.elsevier.com/patrec/) is an official publication of the International Association for Pattern Recognition. The goal of this Special Issue is to bring the cutting edge research work being conducted in the area of computer processing of human handwriting. We invite original contributions that provide novel solutions to challenging problems. Submitted papers can address theoretical or practical aspects of progress and directions in handwriting processing research. During the past years there have been significant progress in a number of areas of handwriting processing. Contributions of survey articles by leading researchers are also welcome.
