CALL FOR PAPERS(PDF)Guidelines for Authors of Papers Guidelines for Authors of Embedded Tutorials On-line submission/review
TOPICS OF INTEREST: Papers are invited on topics related to, but not limited to, the following areas: DESIGN METHODS TRACK: Process technology, processor design, analog-digital mixed signal SoC, concurrent package and board design, CMOS and interconnect reliability, integrated circuit manufacturing, device modelling and simulation, signal integrity and circuit marginality issues, low-power design, DSP design, functional verification. DESIGN TOOLS TRACK: High-level synthesis, logic synthesis, design validation, ASIC design, core-based systems, test and DFT, analog CAD, MEMS, performance-driven design, physical design, programmable devices, standards, digital imaging, SoC design platforms. EMBEDDED SYSTEMS TRACK: Hardware/software co-design and verification, embedded software design, reconfigurable hardware design, architecture mapping, FPGA-based design. PAPER SUBMISSION: Please submit previously unpublished papers electronically (as postscript or pdf files) to the DOCMAN system through the conference website by July 10, 2004. The manuscript should clearly state the novel ideas, results and applications of the contribution. Submissions will undergo BLIND REVIEW. In the new document submission form of DOCMAN, please provide the abstract of the paper (max. of 150 words) along with Track name and keywords to indicate the technical area(s) of the paper, name, address, e-mail, telephone and/or fax numbers of all authors with the contact author identified. Papers should not exceed 15 A4 sized pages including figures, tables, and references, written with double-spacing, one column and font size no smaller than 11 pt. Authors will be notified of acceptance by August 31, 2004. Camera-ready papers not exceeding 6 pages in twocolumn format should be submitted on the conference website by September 27, 2004. IMPORTANT: Your paper will undergo a BLIND REVIEW. Therefore, do NOT include author names or any other information (e.g., your names in the reference list) that uniquely identifies authors in your paper. Authors can prevent identity disclosure in three ways: (1) not list names and affiliations of authors, (2) not say "my work" or "our work" in the text while citing references, and (3) word acknowledgments such that identity of authors and their affiliations are not implied. Author information should ONLY be included in the submission form. EMBEDDED TUTORIAL PROPOSALS SUBMISSION : Proposals for embedded tutorials in emerging areas should be submitted as an extended abstract (pdf file) not exceeding 4 pages. In the new document submission form of DOCMAN, please provide the abstract of the proposal (max. of 50 words) along with Track name and keywords to indicate the technical area(s) of the proposal, name, address, e-mail, telephone and/or fax numbers of all authors with the contact author identified. Authors will be notified of acceptance by August 31, 2004. Camera-ready papers not exceeding 6 pages in twocolumn format should be submitted on the conference website by September 27, 2004. On-line Papers and Embedded Tutorial Proposals Submission/Review:
On-line submission is managed by Docman (document management
system). To submit any information on-line, you must Check-in with a
userid and password. A new window will pop up. If you have EVER used Docman in the past, you
have a valid userid and password (Cannot
recall Userid/Password?). Otherwise, please
sign-up as a New User to obtain a userid and
password.
DESIGN CONTEST:
Please check website for contest rules and submit entries by July 31, 2004.
AWARDS:
Prof. A. K. Choudhury Best Paper Award, Prof. N. N. Biswas Best Student Paper Award
and two Honorable Mention Awards will be given. Student authors should be identified
on the manuscripts. Papers with at least one student author will be eligible for the
Best Student Paper Award. Design Contest Awards will also be given.
