Economic Research Unit, Indian Statistical Institute is organizing a one day workshop on game theory and mechanism design on March 24, 2015. The objective of this workshop is two fold. First, we intend to provide a general outline about game theory and mechanism design to masters and PhD students majoring in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics and so on. Second, this workshop would serve as a platform to discuss various happening research areas so as to motivate students towards research in game theory. The morning session of the workshop will feature a general talk on auction theory being delivered by Prof. Debasis Mishra. The afternoon session constitutes three mini lectures which would be delivered by Prof. Debasis Mishra, Prof. Manipushpak Mitra and Prof. Souvik Roy (for more details, see Schedule).
