ICFHR was renamed from IWFHR in 2008 at Montreal as a natural promotion after ten successful organizations of IWFHR held around the world in Montreal, Chateau de Bonas, Taipei, Colchester, Taejon, Amsterdam, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Tokyo and La Baule. The ICFHR / IWFHR is an International meeting for identifying, encouraging and exchanging new ideas on different topics of handwriting recognition as well as for promoting novel applications at the frontiers of this important field of research. The ICFHR / IWFHR conferences bring together leading researchers and engineers from the fields of on-line and off-line handwriting recognition and it is a single track event. As before, all accepted papers will be published in the forthcoming Conference proceedings and the authors of accepted papers will be invited to present their work as oral presentations or poster presentations. A competition of some software development will also be organized. Some paper awards will also be presented to encourage good research. The papers and their presentations will be done in English language only. |
