Candidates selected for Counselling for JRF in Computer Science
Selection Tests held on 04 May 2008
The following candidates
have qualified the written test and interview conducted for selecting research
fellows in the Computer Science programme of Indian Statistical Institute. The
candidates are requested to attend a Counselling session which will be
organised in the Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit by Professor B.
Chanda of our Institute, on 17
July, 2008 at 11:00
a.m.. The candidates are also requested to visit all the
units/centres (MIU,CVPRU,ECSU,ACMU,ASU, Soft Computing Centre), any day during 14
- 16 July, 2008 from 11:00
a.m. to 5:00
p.m. and interact with the Head and other faculty members of
each unit/center to get a first hand knowledge about the research areas being
offered.
The final offer letter
awarding the fellowship will be issued only after the candidates attend the
Counselling session and indicate their choice of research area/unit and produce
documentary evidences of passing the qualifying examination, by September 30, 2008.
The candidates who will not attend the Counseling
session, will not be awarded fellowship.
