The Workshop
A Short Course on Deep Learning
Majority of the recent advances in artificial intelligence and
machine learning are in the field of deep learning. The 3rd
International Workshop on Pattern Analysis and Applications will be
a three-day workshop from 24th to 26th of September, 2018, and will
cover topics on Deep Learning in the mode of a short course. It will
aim to provide a head start for students and researchers looking to
enter the field of artificial intelligence and deep learning.
Topics:
- Brief recapitulation of basics of
machine learning
- Neural networks and Deep neural networks
- Convolutional neural networks
- Recurrent neural networks
- Applications of deep learning in image
processing, NLP, recommender systems and information retrieval
- Advanced topics in deep learning
- Hands on sessions using deep learning
tools, such as TensorFlow
Speakers
The speakers of the workshop are active researchers from both
academia and industry. Speaker bio's will be updated soon.
