Registration and new-tag Accommodation




Registration

Only a limited number of participants will be registered for the Workshop.


Registration is mandatory for all attendees. They will be registered on the basis of their research/academic activities in the above areas. A position Paper (Within 2 pages) is required from each attendee latest by November 25, 2006(extended !!) <--> via email to iwridl@isical.ac.in. Due to limited number of seats, a small number of attendees could be accommodated and they will be advised to register after October 10, 2006 based on the merit of their position paper.

Selected attendees will be provided accommodation. Accommodation charges will have to be solely borne by them.

Registration Fees for each of the selected participants :

ACM/SIGIR members are eligible for academic registration rate (INR 4000)

new-tagElsevier, India is offering 4 scholarships to attend the workshop for Indian academic participants(Only registration fees will be sponsored by Elsevier). Applications should reach iwridl@isical.ac.in latest by 5th Dec, 2006.

    HOW TO GET THERE:

    Pre-paid taxi is available from Howrah/Sealdah station or NSC Bose Airport round-the-clock. Otherwise general taxi charges according to electronic meter and normal charge is 1.8 times the electronic meter-reading. The driver is supposed to carry a conversion chart which you can ask for before paying.
    Executive Hostel to Vedic Village:
    A bus will take the participants in the morning from NITTTR to Vedic Village and take them back to NITTTR in the evening.
