Work Experience

  • Presently working as a Project Linked Person in the “Substantivist Lexicological Study in Bangla” Project in Linguistics Research Unit (LRU) of Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, from 1st July, 2010 to till date.
  • Presently working as a Project Linked Person in the “Indradhanush Wordnet” Project in Linguistics Research Unit (LRU) of Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, from 1st August, 2012 to till date.
  • Worked as an outsource Research scholar in the “MOTHER TONGUE SURVEY of India” Project of Government of India, organized by the office of the Registrar General, India, Language Division, Nizam Palace, Kolkata, from June, 2008 to June, 2010.
  • Worked as an Informant in “The Object Verification of Place and Manner of Articulation of Bangla Phonemes” project of “Center for Development of Advanced Computing” (C-DAC), Kolkata during the month of April, 2009.
  • Worked as a Research fellow in the “A knowledge-Based Documentation and Archiving of Bangla (and other South Asian languages) for developing an Electronic Language and Speech Corpora” project in the “Institute of Cybernetics System of Information Technology” (ICSIT), which has been entrusted by the “Bhasa Prajukti Gabeshana Parishad” (BPGP) / “Society for Natural Language Technology Research” (SNLTR), from May 2009 to December 2009.
