Abstract
There has been a growing concern for developing techniques for "Data Integration". We have available information on various items of enquiry for a number of subjects and with each item the subjects can be classified from "best" to "worst". The problem is to put all the information together so as to be able to come up with an over-all judgement.
As against simple-minded averaging techniques, TWO methods have been in use among practitioners: TOPSIS Method AND Electre Method.
In this talk, TOPSIS Method will be discussed with illustrative examples.
All are cordially invited.
