1. Field work carried out among the Hos of Seraikella, Bihar on the topic "Finger dermatoglyphic of the Hos of Seraikella, Bihar".
2. Ecology of the Kaibartas of Seraikella, Bihar

(b) POST-GRADUATE DISSERTATION WORK    :   "The quantitative study on the titres of anti-A and anti-B isoagglutinins in relation to ABO blood group polymorphisms among the Bengalee in Calcutta".

(c) RESEARCH WORK     :    Carried out extensive field work in Mirpur, Midnapore onthe biomedical study of the people of Mirpur, a Portuguese descendant community, involving demographic, anthropometric (adult and child), haematological, intestinal    parasitic, dietary, etc. surveys.

(d) RESEARCH WORK LEADING TO Ph.D. :    Carried out extensive field work in Nepal and Kalimpong, Darjeeling district, on the Sherpas and Lepchas involving demographic, anthropometric (adult and child), haematological, intestinal parasitic, blood pressure, dietary, etc. surveys.
