ISI-ICTP Summer School on Internet of Things
Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata
July 22-25, 2019
Recommendation can be sent to email@example.com
One key feature of the Internet of Things is the ability to rapidly create IoT applications to data from dozens, or even hundreds of low-cost, low-power devices. This summer school is intended to share good practices on how IoT nodes can be rapidly prototyped to carry out scientific measurements. The growth of these applications will depend crucially on the establishment of a low cost infrastructure to handle the traffic generated by IoT nodes. Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) solutions based on open standards that address the requirements of scalability, heterogeneity, security and complexity will be presented in the workshop.
