The Winter School on Deep Learning (WSDL), organized by the Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, offers self-motivated students hands-on training in Deep Learning. It covers key concepts, mathematical foundations, programming skills, and the application of cutting-edge Deep Learning techniques to real-world problems.
WSDL 2023 was honoured by the presence of Prof. Geoffrey Hinton, a luminary in the field of artificial intelligence and the esteemed recipient of the 2024 Nobel Prize. WSDL 2024 was privileged to have Prof. Sanjeev Arora, a leading figure in theoretical computer science and a two-time recipient of the prestigious Gödel Prize, as its chief guest.
