Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), an institute of national importance, was founded in 1931 by the visionary Professor Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis. The Institute has earned international laurels in a wide spectrum of disciplines spanning Statistics, Mathematics, Computer and Communication sciences, Social sciences,Biological sciences, Physical and Earth sciences, and Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research. A year-long celebration of the Platinum Jubilee of the Institute during 2006-07 will comprise a series of events.

The Psychology Research Unit of Social Sciences Division of the Institute is organizing a National Conference on "Applied Cognitive Psychology" in the areas of the topics listed below. The programme of this event includes invited lectures by eminent Speakers and contributed papers by Researchers from different Universities and Academic Institutions. Original contributions are solicited in each of the following conference topics. Paper submission is not limited to the topics listed below, any paper following the theme of the topic will be considered.

    Financial support: Partial funding for limited number of participants will be available.
    Registration fee : Rs. 500.00 (non-refundable).
    Payment in favour of : INDIAN STATISTICAL INSTITUTE

    ACCOMODATION: The organizers will arrange modest in-campus and out-campus accomodation. ISI guest house accomodation rate is Rs.250.00 per day.

  • Announcement of Acceptance of Abstract : May 30, 2007
  • Last date for submission of accepted full papers : July 31, 2007
  • Extended deadline for submission of full paper : August 15,2007
  • Early Registration date: 31st July, 2007
