One step at a time, from statistics to agentic AI
AI-STEP is a hands-on workshop that follows the order in which the field was built. It starts with sampling distributions and regression, moves through machine learning and deep learning, and ends with an industry day on generative and agentic AI.
Sessions are taught by academic researchers from ISI Kolkata and practitioners from TCS, Accenture, Deloitte and IBM.

Call for Participation
Eligibility
The workshop targets undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students, researchers, faculty and industry professionals with a background in machine learning and data science. Postgraduate and doctoral candidates in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.
Partial Waiver
A limited number of partial fee waivers are available for students with financial need. After applying, please submit a scanned copy of the signed waiver form to caiml@isical.ac.in / tanmay.sen@isical.ac.in.
The decision of the Workshop Committee regarding selection and fee waivers will be final.
Accommodation
No accommodation will be provided.
Registration Fees
The registration fee includes access to sessions, a workshop registration kit, working lunches, tea and coffee during breaks. All participants will be awarded a duly signed participation certificate.
