A Short Course on Machine Learning for Practitioners

Objectives: Machine Learning has become an imperative skill for the industry owing to its power of addressing diverse real-life problems. Unfortunately, the balanced requirements of theoretical knowledge and practical skills are not available in the traditional courses. This course will make the attendees grasp the theoretical basis of Machine Learning and help them to learn practical skills of problem solving.

Target Group: Practitioners in public and private organizations at the junior levels are preferred. Selection of candidates will be made on first-come, first-served basis (maximum 30). The prerequisites are Basic Statistics and Probability, Basic Data Structures and Algorithms, and Conversant with Programming in R and Python.

Outcomes: Industry professions would gain with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in Machine Learning to handle real life problems. In addition to attending the course, the participants will have a chance to interact with ISI researchers for their own ML/AI problems, if any.

Course Fee: Rs. 35,400.00 (Rs. 30,000 + 18% GST).

Duration: 18hrs (Theory) + 18hrs (Practical).
