This weekend-only workshop typically spans over three-months from January to March in fully online mode, allowing an in-depth exploration of topics. The application window opens from Mid November.
The course is open to individuals (both from Academia and Industry) with varying levels of expertise and experience. Professionals from Non-Academic Organizations under GoI or State Government like DRDO, NSSO, RBI, BPRD etc. willing to participate, are requested to visit the ongoing WSDL site and mail to the team with a CC to Prof Swagatam Das (Mail ID).
Bachelors Pre-Final, Final Year, Masters and Research Fellows are encouraged to join. Students, currently enrolled in integrated MSc should at least be in third year. Personnel, enrolled in any collegiate higher education institution (e.g. Woolf, upGrad etc.) or professional courses (e.g. Wilp by BITS Pilani), will not be considered as Student and will automatically converted to the category of Working Professionals.
We expect that students can reimburse the amount from their respective contingency fund, wherever applicable. In WSDL 2025, STUDENT participants belonging to the categories EWS and BPL have been offered partial (or, full) fee waivers upon furnishing valid governmental documents.
From WSDL 2026, participants can Directly Register themselves.
We are sorry to inform you, due to internal policies cancellation of a registration and refund the fee are not available. The fee is completely non-refundable.
  • Live Classes
    • Participants will receive a unique Zoom link for the entire workshop.
    • Participants will also be invited to join a dedicated Google Classroom.
  • Course Materials
    • All course materials (recordings of the live classes, slides, hands-on demos, and assessments) will be posted on that Google Classroom.
  • Material Upload Schedule
    • As we highly encourage the participants to attend the live classes, take note and interact as much as possible, course materials will typically be uploaded to Google Classroom by 23:59 IST every Tuesday (excluding the final week).
