Doctoral Symposium and Scholar Colloquium

The Doctoral Symposium is a platform for doctoral scholars to to provide an opportunity to showcase their thesis work, interact with experts in the field about their thesis work and receive constructive feedback in a friendly atmosphere. The Symposium welcomes both late and early stage PhD students with an identified research topic related to the scope of CINE-2020 conference. Scholars will obtain useful guidance that will help them complete their research, prepare their thesis, and begin a research career.PhD advisors are hereby requested to nominate their PhD students who are close to graduation to submit abstracts to this doctoral symposium

Besides the main event, we are also organizing Doctoral Symposium and Scholar Colloquium as two sister events to promote research temperament among young scholars and researchers (M.Tech/M.Sc/PhD/MS). Kindly visit the following link for more details: Click here

We are happy to inform you that we will reimburse the TA/DA for the top three accepted presentations in both these events and also provide a prize amount (INR) as a token of encouragement.

The main objectives of the Doctoral Symposium are:

  • To allow PhD students to understand technical writing and communication of their research;
  • To receive constructive feedback from the Program Committee, Eminent Speakers, and other participants;
  • To create opportunities to form research collaborations and interact with other researchers about their ideas on different topics.
