State of India-CMIE is a comprehensive compilation of state-level statistics. The data is sourced from each of the 23 major states and 12 minor states or union territories.
Indiastat.com provides secondary level socio-economic statistical data about India and its states, Region and Sector on more than 35 variables.
CEIC Databases is delivering a wide range of macroeconomic and industry-specific time series data for India. The database covers over 163,000 time series with historical data from as early as 1951 and offers a wide range of dataset frequencies, from daily to annual.

As an employee, full time student, research scholar of the Indian Statistical Institute, you can get home/off-campus access to the electronic resources the Central Library, Indian Statistical Institute subscribes to. The commercial use of data, the systematic download of large amounts of data (including entire books or journals) as well as the systematic storage of data are strictly forbidden. It's also forbidden to pass on your user ID and password to others and to use remote access in connection with another workplace. If the library or the data supplier should discover any misuse, your remote access will be closed. All traffic relating to remote access is logged by both the data supplier and the library. VPN Central Library is accessible via Virtual Private Network (VPN) from other Centres To use licensed e-resources you need to be identified as a ISI Library member*. You do this by making sure your computer appears to be on the ISI network. This is easy when you are on campus.
